A suspected DUI crash in El Cajon last Saturday sent a woman and her two young nieces to the hospital and landed a pickup driver behind bars, according to police. Investigators say a white truck slammed into a parked sedan, then plowed into a fence and a tree after early callers to 911 reported that a vehicle might have hit a home. The injured were a mother and her nieces, ages 3 and 7, who were taken to nearby hospitals for evaluation. Officers detained the driver at the scene before taking him into custody.
