Violent Weekend Challenges
Baton Rouge Police Chief TJ Morris spoke with Mornings with Brian Haldane about the department’s response to a violent weekend. Several shootings involved retaliation and domestic disputes. Officers worked nonstop to determine whether the incidents were connected or isolated. Chief Morris emphasized that BRPD’s homicide detectives remain highly effective.
