EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — El Paso County is opening its community centers to serve as warming centers — places where individuals and families can seek relief from the cold.
The warming centers will open on Monday, Jan. 12, with services expected to continue through March.
“We understand the difficulties that extreme weather can bring and want to ensure that everyone in our community has a place to stay warm. Residents are encouraged to visit these centers to take advantage of the warmth and comfort provided,” the County said in a news release…
