New rehabilitation hospital in Howard to offer area’s first traumatic brain injury unit

HOWARD (WLUK) — A new hospital currently being built in Howard will feature the first traumatic brain injury (TBI) unit in Northeast Wisconsin.

On Monday, Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) and Lifepoint Rehabilitation, a division of Lifepoint Health, announced a joint venture partnership to operate the inpatient rehabilitation facility currently under construction on South Taylor Street, near HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center.
