The African Children’s Choir is coming to Louisiana later this month to share worship songs and hymns with the Youngsville community, with the goal of raising money to help African children living in extreme poverty pursue education and training.
The choir, made up of 17 primarily Ugandan children from ages 7 to 10, will perform at First Assembly of God church in Youngsville on Friday, Jan. 30 at 7 p.m. Attendance is free, and all donations support Music for Life and the African Children’s Choir program in sponsoring the entire education of choir members, even through university.
The children are currently halfway through a nationwide tour, with upcoming dates in Arkansas and Texas before making their way to Louisiana and Mississippi…
