Aurora police pursue man driving in ski mask, find allegedly stolen items

DENVER (KDVR) — Aurora police pursued a man who was seen driving with a ski mask on, and say they discovered allegedly stolen items in the vehicle after he crashed into a cluster of trees and was arrested, according to a post on X from the Aurora Police Department.

On Saturday, just before 8 a.m., officers on patrol spotted a Nissan Maxima with no license plate near East Alameda Avenue and South Sable Boulevard, police said. The driver of the Maxima was also seen wearing a ski mask, two things the Aurora Police Department described as immediate red flags.

Suspect arrested after hundreds of items stolen from Englewood storage facility

Officers attempted to pull the car over, police said, but the driver fled, leading the officers on a pursuit.

The pursuit lasted only a few minutes before the driver crashed into a small cluster of trees near East Alameda Avenue and South Havana Street…
