COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Police are investigating a robbery involving a masked man and woman who targeted a business near the University Village Shopping Center on Saturday evening, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department.
Officers responded around 5 p.m. to the 5000 block of North Nevada Avenue after receiving a report of a robbery in progress. When police arrived, they learned that two suspects had entered a business and demanded money from an employee.
According to investigators, both suspects were wearing masks when they entered the store. The male suspect reportedly kept one hand inside his pocket in a manner that suggested he may have been armed, though no weapon was visibly displayed.
