W.Va. Air National Guard nurse helps deliver baby in a car

WASHINGTON (WCHS) — A nurse in the West Virginia Air National Guard reportedly helped to deliver a baby out of a vehicle while on deployment in Washington, D.C.

Capt. April McClung is credited with helping a family outside Walter Reed National Military Medical Center days before Christmas, according to the National Guard.

The Guard said McClung called upon nearly 30 years of medical experience when a man rushed into the facility asking for someone to help his wife who was in labor…
