YPSILANTI, MI – Washtenaw County Sheriff Alyshia Dyer is stressing patience in the community as her office continues to investigate the prolonged barricade last week in Ypsilanti.
Dyer put out her own statement on Monday, Jan. 12, asking public officials and community members to encourage people to “be patient and to respect the ongoing process.” A separate release from the Washtenaw County Metro Dispatch Team said public officials who questioned the performance of dispatchers “without verified facts undermine public trust.”
