ROYSTON, Ga. – An 18-year-old man was injured in a shooting Monday night at a commercial location in Royston, and a suspect was quickly taken into custody, authorities said.
Deputies with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office responded at about 8:32 p.m. on January 12, 2026, to reports of a shooting off Franklin Springs Street. Upon arrival, deputies located an 18-year-old male victim from Hartwell who had been shot.
Deputies rendered aid at the scene before the victim was transported for further medical treatment. His condition was not released…
