NORFOLK, Va. — Five people were displaced after a fire at an apartment building in Norfolk Tuesday evening.
The fire in the 2700 block of Debree Avenue was reported at 7:54 p.m., according to Norfolk Fire-Rescue. Firefighters found a two-story apartment building with fire and sparking electric wires showing from the back of the building. Firefighters found fire in two of the apartments, and firefighters also helped protect an adjacent home from catching on fire. The adjacent home did have exterior damage.
