Two brothers are in the Russell County Jail after a drug trafficking investigation.
The duo were arrested following an eight-month narcotics investigation regarding a local trafficking organization in Muscogee County, Georgia, and Russell County, Alabama.
The investigation was conducted by the Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office Collaborative Intelligence Group, the Russell County Sheriff’s Office, and the GBI Gang Task Force.
The investigation began on May 1, 2025, when the Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office Collaborative Intelligence Group executed a narcotics search warrant in Muscogee County, GA. This search warrant resulted in seizing 12.2 pounds of marijuana, with an estimated street value of $55,470.00, 3 firearms, $16,645.00 in US Currency, and 2 vehicles.
