EVANSVILLE – A new initiative could help some middle-class CenterPoint customers snag free repairs for their homes.
The utility announced a partnership with Community One during a news conference Tuesday morning. It would cover multiple fixes, including HVAC, roof and window work. And according to CenterPoint Foundation specialist Courtney Lander, the repairs would be “100% free” for those who qualify.
The program is set to last through 2027…
