LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – A Jefferson County Judge has dismissed a murder charge against Nathan Short, ruling he is immune from prosecution.
Nathan Short was charged with murder after shooting Nicholas Wedding in May 2024 at a home in the 3500-block of Versaille Lane. Officers arrived and found Wedding shot in the chest. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition, but later died while in surgery.
