Popular Madeira Beach restaurant to close for new town center

MADEIRA BEACH, Fla. (WFLA) — A popular Italian restaurant in Madeira Beach announced it’ll soon be closing its doors as the city prepares to start development on a new town center.

Frabotta’s Beach Kitchen has sat just steps away from the beach for years, nestled into a corner spot on Madeira Way and Gulf Boulevard.

The restaurant’s calling card is their Detroit-style pizza, which they define as a pan pizza with a thick, crispy crust and often topped with pepperoni and mushrooms.
