Williams-Sonoma, the San Francisco-based cookware and home furnishings retailer, is preparing to close its longtime Union Square store, marking another major shakeup in the city’s core shopping district after years of shifting timelines.
The four-story location at 340 Post St., which opened in 2003, is expected to close this month, according to an employee at the store.
