Windsor West Little League (WWLL) has announced a free softball camp for girls ages 7–10, aimed at introducing young athletes to the game in a fun, welcoming, and supportive environment.
The camp will run on February 1, 8, 15, and 22 from 1:00–3:00 p.m. at St. Clair College’s Classic Gym. The program is open to all girls across Windsor-Essex, regardless of prior softball experience. No equipment or experience is required to participate, though players are encouraged to bring their own bats, helmets, and gloves if they have them.
The camp will be led by an experienced group of local softball leaders, including Francine Stadler, Head Coach of the University of Windsor Softball Team, and Kelli Pacquette of the Lady Expos. Adding to the excitement, Olympian Lith “Spyder” Webb will make a special appearance on February 8 to meet participants and share her experiences at the highest level of the sport.
