Walmart to expand drone delivery to 150 locations, including 8 major cities

BENTONVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Walmart is set to broaden its drone delivery service, making aerial orders available at more than 100 stores nationwide over the next two years.

The Bentonville-based retailer, working with Alphabet-owned drone operator Wing, will add the service at 150 additional Walmart locations in 2026.

New service areas will cover major metropolitan markets, including Los Angeles, St. Louis, Cincinnati, and Miami. Additional cities in the latest rollout are Houston; Orlando, Florida; Tampa, Florida; and Charlotte, North Carolina.
