MADISON COUNTY — A Pearl man was killed and a passenger was airlifted for treatment following a two-vehicle crash involving a log truck Monday afternoon on Mississippi 16.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol responded about 5:54 p.m. Jan. 12 to the crash on MS-16 near Sharon Road in Madison County.
Troopers said a 2000 Volvo log truck driven by 19-year-old Jaden Powell of Lexington was traveling south and attempted to turn west onto MS-16 when it collided with a 2002 Ford F-250 traveling east.
