TLC Properties founder Sam E. Coryell dies at 82

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Sam E. Coryell, a Springfield businessman who helped found TLC Properties and played a key role in shaping the city’s real estate landscape, has died.

Dr. Coryell passed away Monday night at the age of 82 in Springfield, according to a statement from TLC Properties.

Born in Puducah, KY, in 1943, Coryell was instrumental in the creation and growth of TLC Properties in Springfield in 1988. It has become one of the largest and most recognizable property management and development companies in southwest Missouri.
