A woman was arrested Sunday night after assaulting a San Antonio police officer who attempted to detain her as she wandered near a highway ramp on the East Side.
Just after 7 p.m., an officer responded to the 4500 Block of Interstate 35 for a report of a woman wandering “an unsafe part of the street” near a highway on-ramp.
When the officer arrived and tried to detain the woman for her safety, she allegedly assaulted and injured the officer. Medics evaluated the officer at the scene…
