Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –The Walking School Bus Program is coming to Albuquerque Public Schools through a $2.7 million investment by the federal government. The funding will expand on APS’s Vision Zero for Youth Initiative and launch Walking School Bus programs at schools across Albuquerque. Vision Zero focuses on preventing traffic related injuries and deaths.
