Johnstown Man Draws Five Year Sentence In Barricade Incident

A 21-year-old Johnstown man was sentenced to five years in Community Corrections on Monday for nearly running over a Larimer County Sheriff’s Office deputy, eluding and barricading himself in a barn October 2024. The Greeley Tribune reports Terrick Wilkins sped passed a deputy conducting a traffic stop near Eisenhower Boulevard and Sculptor Drive in Loveland, almost hitting the deputy that was standing outside of the stopped vehicle in 2024. Wilkins exited onto Colo. 56 in Berthoud and crashed into an LCSO cruiser before he continued to elude officers by driving the wrong way on I-25.
