Augusta residents wanting to learn more about the proposed closure of T.W. Josey High School and Murphey Middle School are encouraged to attend a public meeting on Thursday.
The Richmond County Board of Education’s long-range facilities master plan includes “the development of a new college and career academy for high school students across the district,” the school district said on its website. “The academy would expand access to career pathways, hands-on learning experiences, and workforce-aligned programs.”
