BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — Brenda Lewis, of Bakersfield, has been reappointed to the State Board of Education, where she has served since 2022, according to Gov. Gavin Newsom’s Office.
Lewis has a background in education, having held various roles at Kern High School District from 1988 to 2021, including associate superintendent of instruction and principal.
