Multi-Family Home Destroyed in Chelsea Fire; Seven Residents Displaced

CHELSEA, Mass. — A raging fire swept through a multi-family home in Chelsea on Tuesday evening, displacing residents and leaving one building a total loss, officials said.

Fire crews were dispatched to Cottage Street and encountered heavy fire on two floors of the structure. The fire began at a multi-family house at 58 Cottage Street and quickly spread, sending flames into an adjacent building.
