A Chickamauga man was taken into custody Friday night, January 9, after a police pursuit ended in a serious crash on Battlefield Parkway, according to the Georgia State Patrol.
The pursuit began when deputies with the Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office attempted to stop a Chevrolet Cruze and requested assistance from GSP. While traveling westbound on Battlefield Parkway, the driver of the Cruze rear-ended a Nissan Armada near the Sentry Station strip center.
A preliminary GSP report indicates that two passengers in the Chevrolet Cruze sustained serious to moderate injuries. A two-year-old child riding in the Nissan Armada, which was not involved in the pursuit, also suffered serious to moderate injuries. All injured individuals were transported for medical treatment…
