MIDDLETOWN, Ohio (WXIX) -A Middletown man faces more than two dozen felonies in a rape and kidnapping case that dates back to 2022, court records show.
Butler County grand juries have indicted Joseph Wade Boggs Jr., 45, twice in two months, most recently on Monday.
Middletown police arrested him in November, and a first grand jury handed down a 12-count indictment against him. His bond was set at $500,000.
Prosecutors say the alleged crimes occurred from May 22 to August 2025:
- 7 counts of rape
- 2 counts of kidnapping
- 2 counts of misdemeanor assault
- 1 count of abduction
