GEORGETOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Prosecutors filed formal charges on Monday against a man arrested for an armed home invasion.

Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) deputies responded to the apartment of a 32-year-old woman on Baldwin Street near Main Street on Thursday before 5:30 a.m. after a child called 9-1-1 when a 32-year-old Jacarr Cox from Grand Rapids broke in, according to deputies.
Deputies said Cox, who used to date the woman, had a handgun and a 7-month-old, 9-year-old and 14-year-old were inside during the break-in. The children are unharmed and the woman is minorly injured…
