New Jersey is poised to approve a 60-year lease, allowing a Liberty State Park marina build a massive boat storage facility and tap $30 million in taxpayer funds in a deal critics call a last-minute giveaway.
Under the agreement with Suntex Marinas, the company would construct a 500-boat dry-rack warehouse on two acres of public land, while the state helps fund bulkhead repairs along the Hudson River.
