Amish reality show set in Lancaster County to premiere Tuesday night on TLC

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — TLC is heading to Lancaster County with a new show set to premiere Tuesday night.

The new show, “Suddenly Amish,” premiering Tuesday, Jan. 13 at 10 p.m., follows six people who decide to abandon their modern lifestyles and try to join the Amish community.

According to the description on TLC’s website, very few people enter into Amish society. However, Bishop Vernon, leader of the Lancaster County community the show focuses on, believes the Amish population is decreasing. Thus, he offers the six “outsiders” an opportunity to join the community…
