DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews) — Applications are now open for the 2026 Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program, which helps eligible seniors purchase fresh, locally grown food.
The program provides qualifying seniors with a $50 benefit card that can be used at certified farmers markets and farm stands across Alabama. Benefits are available on a first-come, first-served basis while funding lasts.
