Officials to cut ribbons for central Kentucky cannabis cultivator, medical dispensary

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Leaders with Kentucky’s cannabis industry will join Gov. Andy Beshear, making stops in Richmond and Lexington on Wednesday to cut ribbons for two important Bluegrass facilities—a tier-III cannabis cultivator and the Speakeasy Dispensary.

Beshear, along with leaders from the Kentucky Cannabis Industry Association (KCIA), will join other state and local officials at 12:30 p.m. on Jan. 14 to cut the ribbon for Natural State GreenGrass CannaCo, one of the two largest cultivators in Kentucky, in Richmond.

The governor’s office wrote in a news release that the group will head straight from Richmond to Lexington to cut the ribbon on the Speakeasy Dispensary in Lexington.
