LAFAYETTE, CALIFORNIA – I remember walking by and seeing the “Coming Soon” signs, but I had no idea when Lafayette’s newest bakery would actually open up.
Now, it has quietly opened. And readers are already writing in to say how much they’re enjoying the pastries.
The new spot is Brioche de Paris, which opened up at 998 Moraga Road in downtown Lafayette, right by Sideboard and the also-brand-new Big Woof.
It occupies the spot formerly held by Hollie’s Homegrown, which is set to reopen later this year in the new Brant development down the street.
Early customer reviews suggest Brioche de Paris started welcoming visitors in late December, with one reviewer saying they spotted the shop open on New Year’s Day (January 1, 2026). An Instagram video from the bakery confirm the opening……
