ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — More than two weeks after a roof collapse forced the emergency evacuation of 131 residents from Hilton East Assisted Living, facilities across the Greater Rochester Mutual Aid Network continue to provide care for those displaced.
The collapse occurred in late December following a stretch of snow, rain and melting ice. The New York State Department of Health confirmed it is working with Hilton East, the village fire marshal and code enforcement officials as part of the ongoing response.
