SAN JOSE, Calif. (KRON) — Shannon O’Connor, also known as “Party Mom,” is on trial for allegedly organizing secret and disturbing parties for Los Gatos High School freshmen.
The mother wanted her son’s group of friends to think of her as one of the “popular girls,” teenaged witnesses testified. Through Snapchat group messages and party guest lists, O’Connor tightly controlled which students could be in the group of friends, and which students were cut out because they were deemed “untrustworthy,” or not attractive enough, witnesses said.
