Local baby contracts Georgia’s first measles case of 2026

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – The Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH) has confirmed a measles case in a baby who lives in the Coastal Health District.

The Coastal Health District encompasses the seven counties of Bryan, Camden, Chatham, Effingham, Glynn, Liberty, Long and McIntosh.
