TAMPA, Fla. — Residents planning a trip to the tax office early next week will need to adjust their schedules. The Hillsborough County Tax Collector’s Office announced Tuesday that all branch locations will be closed on Monday, January 19, 2026, in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
While physical counters will be unstaffed for the holiday, Tax Collector Nancy Millan noted that essential services remain accessible through automated systems.
“We honor Dr. King’s legacy of service, equality, and community,” Millan said. “While our offices will be closed, we remain committed to serving our community through our other accessible service options including online services and self-service kiosks.”…
