Woman accused of killing 18-year-old in jet ski crash offered 20 years in prison for guilty plea

DALLAS — The woman who allegedly caused a jetski crash that killed 18-year-old Ava Moore was offered a plea deal, according to court filings.

Daikerlyn Alejandra Gonzalez Gonzalez allegedly drove the jet ski that killed Moore, WFAA previously reported. In June, she was arrested and charged with second-degree felony manslaughter, as well as charges of reckless operation and excessive speed of a personal watercraft and leaving the scene of an accident involving death.

If convicted, Gonzalez would face between two and 20 years in prison, along with a $10,000 fine, according to a plea bargain offer filed on Nov. 19 in Tarrant County…
