The National Weather Service issued a “Dangerous Snow Squall” warning for much of Will County and surrounding areas this morning.
The dicey weather conditions brought intense bursts of heavy snow, along with decreased visibility, winds gusting 40 to 50 mph, and black ice conditions on roadways. In the special weather statement, the National Weather Service warned of a heavy band of wind-driven snow, impacting the morning commute.
