COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – A Colorado Springs City Council member walked out of a meeting Tuesday after the panel heard a proclamation regarding MLK Day.
The joint proclamation between the City Council and the Mayor’s office formally recognized Jan. 19, 2026, as Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
