A wholesale salon and beauty supply distributor located near Birmingham is planning to close its facility, laying off nearly 80 workers.
SalonCentric, headquartered in Clearwater, Fla., announced the closure at the McCalla facility in a Jan. 13 notice filed with the state. The company scheduled the closure by June 30, per the WARN notice.
