SULLIVAN’S ISLAND, S.C. (WCSC) — Crews responded early Wednesday morning to a reported structure fire at a beloved Sullivan’s Island restaurant that was closed this very time last year because of the same thing.
Charleston County Consolidated Dispatch shows that a fire was reported at The Obstinate Daughter restaurant on the 2000 block of Middle Street. The call came in just after 4:35 a.m. Firefighters had largely left the scene by 6:15 a.m.
It’s unclear how severe an incident this reported fire may have been, however, the Obstinate Daughter confirmed that it would be open Wednesday for lunch service starting at 11 a.m…
