Former Clermont County sheriff sentenced for OVI after crash, leaving scene

CLERMONT COUNTY, Ohio (WKRC) – Former Clermont County Sheriff Tim “A.J.” Rodenberg was sentenced to 180 days of confinement for operating a vehicle while impaired, with 177 days suspended, following a Nov. 18 crash, court records show.

Rodenberg, 77, must complete a three-day driver intervention program, will be under community control for seven months, was ordered to pay $110.82 in restitution and $565 in fines, and had his driver’s license suspended for one year.

Rodenberg was also fined $100 for failing to maintain an assured clear distance and received a suspended 180-day confinement and a six-month license suspension for leaving the scene…
