Injured owl released back into the wild after recovery in Huntersville: Watch here

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (WBTV) – A great horned owl in Mecklenburg County was released back into the wild on Tuesday after a successful rehabilitation.

The 22-year-old female was injured weeks ago when she became tangled in chicken coop wire. Video of the owl being released can be seen in the next section of this article.
