Police are investigating after a 30-year-old man in Riverside County was found dead inside his apartment.
In a news release, officials with the Murrieta Police Department said that officers responded to a call for service at The Arbors at California Oaks apartments located at 24375 Jackson Avenue around 9:15 a.m. on Jan. 13.
The victim, identified as Murrieta resident Aaron Parr, was deceased inside the apartment, with officials saying his death is being investigated as a homicide.
Authorities did not say how long Parr may have been dead inside the apartment, whether the 30-year-old was suffering from any apparent injuries or if the residence showed any sign of forced entry or a sign of struggle inside the apartment.
