GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro’s plan to bring back red light cameras is moving closer to reality, with installation now expected to begin in late winter or early spring.
The Greensboro City Council voted in 2025 to reinstate red-light cameras in parts of the city, citing safety concerns. This year, the program is set to officially launch.
