NASSAU COUNTY, Fla. – A Yulee man was arrested last week after a road rage confrontation escalated into gunfire while a child was present, according to the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office.
Jesse Robin Compton, 33, was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and firing a gun into an occupied vehicle following an incident that occurred in November on Miner Road in Yulee.
Investigators said the victim was driving along Miner Road when they slowed to allow a turtle to cross the roadway. According to victim statements, Compton pulled up behind the vehicle, became angry, and passed on the right by driving into the grass…
