Alabama man says deer tried ‘his best to kill me’ near Tennessee state line: ‘No help was coming’

An Alabama wildlife official has warned against the danger of domesticated deer following one man’s story of an attack.

While cutting down fruit trees in Skyline last month Jonathon Counts said he noticed an eight-point buck with orange bows on his antlers emerging from the woods.

After Counts took a picture and returned to stacking limbs, he said the deer “slowly walked around to the brush pile.”…
