A Leesburg woman was arrested for trespassing at Candlelight Motel after an officer found her causing a disturbance outside of a room.
An officer responded to Candelight Motel, located at 1306 S 14th St., regarding 43-year-old Stephanie Lynn Armstrong causing a disturbance at a room around 6 a.m. Saturday, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department. The occupants of the room wanted her trespassed, which would be the second time since Dec. 24, 2025.
Armstrong was already gone by the time the officer got there. But about 10 minutes later, he got another call at Spin City Laundry, located at 1321 S 14th St. He responded to the laundromat and told Armstrong she could not go back to the motel because she had been previously trespassed, the report said.
She acknowledged this and stated she would not return to the property. However, around 7:40 a.m., the officer went back to the motel due to Armstrong causing a disturbance outside the same room. She was then found in front of the doorway of the room, the report said…
